Indian cuisine may be synonymous with heat, but Amrina, an eclectic and modern Indian concept from the Kahani Social Group, takes cooking to the next level with its sexy interpretation. The menu reflects all regions of India, with Bindra fusion techniques and ingredients – think jackfruit biryani and red wine braised lamb shank, but also tandoori macaroni and cheese.

Carnivorous diners can expect meaty indulgences like masala-rubbed bone-in rib-eye, presented with Madras curry, but for a taste of something truly exotic, ostrich kebabs are a must. . Tender and hearty pieces are served with marinated kohlrabi and parsnip mousse for an elegant and unique dish.

Amrina has a number of raw bar offerings and sea gems, including an abundance of caviar choices. Petrossian Tsar Imperial and DR Delicacy Kaluga Imperial Gold are classically presented with chives, onion, egg whites and egg yolk, and topped with naan blinis.

There’s no shortage of ways to splurge in Amrina, but it’s a good idea to splurge on the cardamom chocolate mousse for dessert. The impeccably sculpted pastry arrives with melted jaggery caramel and spiced strawberry “lips” coated in 24-karat gold. Prepare your finger that clicks on the camera.
