An Indian restaurant in Shipley to celebrate Halloween with a street food and craft beer event


Crafty Indian Restaurant will get into the Halloween spirit with a Crafty Creeps night of food, beer and fun.

The Crafty Creeps Hallowe’en Spooktacular will take place on Thursday, October 28 at the Indian Street Food and Craft Beer venue on Bradford Road, Shipley, when the bar and restaurant are decorated in an appropriate spectral style.

Ghostly activities will begin with family fun at 5:00 p.m. with food served starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by a later, spicier session for adults from 7:30 p.m. with craft beer and food tasting sessions. served at 8 p.m.

The Crafty Indian is having a Halloween event this month

With the lights oddly out, guests will be invited to gorge on a monster buffet of Halloween dishes such as vegan pumpkin and chickpea curry or vampire chicken tikka masala.

The buffet will include a choice of meat or veg options, including terribly spicy entrees, monstrous entrees, rice and naan bread, all for a fixed price of £ 9.95 per person (£ 6.95 for children under eight).

The bar will be open all evening so beer lovers can enjoy a ‘hoppy hallowe’en’ while dousing their meal with a range of spooky Halloween-themed beers. (* Not included in the ticket price.)

Guests are invited to don their spookiest costumes and there will be prizes for the spookiest costume.

Crafty’s Indian owner Harry Khinda said: “It’s quite a thriller in itself for us to be able to start hosting fun events on the site again. We hope everyone will come and help us get into the Halloween spirit, whether it’s fun with the Addams Family at the previous shoot, a Ghoul’s Night Out, or just getting together with some ‘demons.
