Delicious Indian food cooked on the streets from a pop-up kitchen named the best in Wales


Wales crowned a street vendor as the best in the country after chefs battled for national fame.

South Indian street food specialists, Keralan Karavan , took first place to win the 2021 Welsh Street Food Awards.

The awards saw some of the most innovative and tasty food stalls compete for the title, and ultimately a spot in the next round of the British Street Food Awards.

These will be held in Hull in September.

After a weekend of tasting delicious treats at Cardiff’s Roath Yard, hosted by Street Food Circus, guests were invited to vote for their favorites before the pros cast their vote. Following the judges’ decision, led by Sam and Shauna of Hang Fire Southern Kitchen, Keralan Karavan was crowned champion.
