New Delhi: Elon Musk’s Tesla Inc is set to open a 24/7 Tesla restaurant in Hollywood. The electric vehicle company submitted related documents to the City of Los Angeles on May 19, according to a Bloomberg report. The restaurant will go up to 7001 W. Santa Monica Blvd. at Hollywood.
It comes four years after Tesla’s CEO tweeted about a “roller skate and rock restaurant” that would also double as an electric vehicle charging station. In his January 2018 tweet, Musk wrote, “I’m going to set up an old-school drive-in, rollerskating, and rocking restaurant in one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in Los Angeles.”
I’m going to put a drive-thru, roller skates and an old-fashioned rock restaurant in one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in Los Angeles

Citing a report by Electrek, the Bloomberg article says the restaurant will be housed in a 9,300 square foot space that will include plans for a drive-in theater and a 28-seat supercharger station. Architectural plans shared by Tesla show a two-story restaurant with a 200-seat capacity, both indoors and outdoors. Food will be served in the cars and outdoor seating will have a direct view of two LED cinema screens, according to the report.
Tesla had filed applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office about a year ago to file a “T” logo for a range of dining concepts, including self-service take-out ones. According to the report, no further details on the opening date or menus are available at this time.
For the Hollywood Supercharger restaurant to become a reality, the city’s approval has to come.
Musk previously tweeted that the concept would be an old-school drive-in, complete with roller skates. In February, he announced that the restaurant/drive-in would be futuristic and that payment could be made in Dogecoin.
And, of course, you can pay in Ðoge
