Royal Spice: Cambridge’s Indian restaurant awarded with the best takeaway of the year


A local Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant received the award for best takeaway in Cambridge at the 2021 Restaurant Guru Awards.

Not only did Royal Spice receive this accolade, but last year at the Asian Curry Awards, they were named Takeaway of the Year and Community Hero of the Year 2020.

Royal Spice says they didn’t share the news at the time because “it was a tough time for everyone.”

Royal Spice, who has been in Cambridge since 2006, has helped hundreds of people in the community by providing meals during the pandemic.

The restaurant is located on Victoria Avenue and also offers delivery and collection.
